Description
The Plant Engineering Manager controls and implements daily plant engineering and maintenance functions, manages project and engineering-change activities, establishes labor and method standards, coordinates engineers, directs maintenance personnel, and oversees documentation, quality, safety, customer requirements, and special projects. The role also assesses, trains, and develops subordinates and manages the department’s employees, including performance management and hiring. It requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, at least eight years of engineering experience, and automotive manufacturing experience, with work performed in both an office and the plant floor.
