Customer.io is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a squad delivering customer-facing product and workflows or reliable distributed systems. The role owns projects end to end, drives execution through ambiguity, participates in architecture and incident work, coaches engineers, manages hiring and performance, and applies AI-native development practices. Candidates should have at least three years managing engineers at a SaaS company, a strong technical background, experience building high-performing teams, and demonstrated AI-native leadership. The starting salary is $185,000-$215,000 USD, with medical, dental, vision, mental health, and supplemental insurance coverage.
