Description
Databricks is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the development of a new service and architecture for the next generation of its Databricks SQL Control Plane. The role manages software engineers, grows the team, leads technical and product discussions, operates a highly available cloud service, defines the engineering roadmap, and partners with product and other engineering leaders. Candidates need at least five years of experience in database systems, data processing, or related domains, experience building highly available cloud services, experience managing high-performance teams, and experience defining and meeting SLOs for highly available systems; Rust experience is preferred.
