Description
Edison Scientific is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead and scale its product engineering team responsible for the frontend and backend of its AI scientist discovery platform. The role partners with scientists, product managers, and designers; sets technical strategy for the API and UI layers; manages engineering quality, hiring, mentorship, and cross-functional planning; and reports to the Head of Engineering. The position requires at least four years of engineering management experience, prior product engineering experience, fullstack proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, modern frontend frameworks, and infrastructure tooling, plus knowledge of distributed systems, data modeling, and cloud infrastructure. The salary is $250,000–$350,000 with equity, and full healthcare coverage is offered to full-time employees.
