Google Cloud is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a team of approximately 6–10 software engineers responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience for Looker. The role focuses on building and developing the engineering team, guiding technical strategy and architecture, managing project execution, ensuring code quality and performance, and collaborating with Product Management and other Cloud Data engineering teams to support differentiated business intelligence experiences using AI. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, 8 years of software development experience, 5 years of technical leadership experience, 5 years of people management or team leadership experience, and 2 years of GenAI experience.
