Description
The Engineering and Maintenance Manager oversees all engineering and maintenance operations for a Marriott hotel, including the physical plant, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, grounds, safety systems, energy conservation, preventive maintenance, capital projects, contractor management, regulatory compliance, and asset protection. The role also supervises staffing, supports employee and guest-service training, manages budgets and inventory, and helps lead emergency response. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED or a relevant two-year degree, four or two years of engineering and maintenance experience respectively, and technical training in HVAC-R, electrical, or plumbing systems.
