MongoDB is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead and grow a new Atlas Data Federation & Archiving engineering team in the Dublin area. The role involves managing individual contributors, contributing to distributed backend systems and architecture, collaborating with stakeholders and customers, supporting escalations, and participating in on-call rotations. Candidates must be based in Cork and prefer a hybrid or in-office model; the position requires at least six years of professional software development experience, three years of people management experience, large-scale distributed systems leadership, compiled-language backend skills, cloud and cloud-storage experience, and petabyte-scale data infrastructure experience.
