Description
OpenAI is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead its multimodal API product suite, including image generation and Live API. The role owns the product roadmap, builds and mentors an engineering team, collaborates with product, design, research, and other stakeholders, and guides technical and architectural decisions around scalability, robustness, and user experience. The position requires experience managing complex engineering teams, strong software engineering and system architecture knowledge, familiarity with multimodal AI, and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment. It is an in-person role at OpenAI's San Francisco office.
