OpenAI is hiring a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead a small, fast-moving team building AI-powered automation systems for internal operations. The role combines applied AI, research, and full-stack product engineering, with responsibilities including system architecture and implementation, developer tools, automation platforms, knowledge graphs, data systems, customer-facing deployments, and rapid feedback-driven iteration. The manager will also partner with product, research, and operations teams and work closely with scaled workforces.
