Description
OPTO is hiring an Engineering Manager in Wood Dale, Illinois to lead the engineering team and manage custom product development, product enhancements, manufacturing design, 3D CAD modeling, drawings, bills of materials, cost estimates, and cross-functional collaboration with sales, manufacturing, and subcontractors. The role requires a bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or design, at least eight years of engineering or wood or metal manufacturing experience, multi-material knowledge, 3D solid modeling proficiency, and strong mentoring and communication skills. The position is performed in an office setting with some travel required.
