Profluent, an AI-first protein design company founded in 2022, is seeking a Product-Minded Engineering Manager to lead their Lab Informatics Platform team. The role involves combining engineering management, technical leadership, and product ownership for systems used by scientists to design experiments, track samples, capture assay data, integrate with Benchling and lab automation, and analyze experimental data for machine learning. The ideal candidate will manage and mentor a small team, stay involved in architectural decisions, data modeling, and database design, and collaborate closely with various technical and scientific teams.
