Swoop Technologies is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead product engineering teams that build its distributed operating system and related platform. The role focuses on mentoring engineers, developing their independence, maintaining technical standards and documentation, coordinating product launches, managing deadlines, and providing design and code reviews. It requires 7+ years of embedded engineering or full-stack development experience, 2+ years of management experience, and strong technical expertise in languages and systems such as C, Rust, Python, operating systems, RTOS, embedded systems, microkernels, bare metal, backend development, or Kubernetes. The position is hybrid, requiring someone based in Minneapolis or St. Paul to work in the office at least three days per week.
