Teya is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a team of backend engineers responsible for onboarding and customer-verification systems across Europe. The role combines hands-on technical guidance with people leadership, including performance management, career development, technical mentoring, delivery ownership, system reliability, architecture standards, and roadmap participation. Candidates should have 1–3 years of engineering-management experience, 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, preferably in backend systems using Java, Kotlin, or similar technologies, and experience with systems design in high-throughput, secure, or regulated environments.
