The Zebra is hiring a Manager II of Engineering to lead a software engineering team, guide technical strategy, manage delivery and roadmaps, and mentor engineers. The role reports to the Director of Engineering, collaborates with product and design teams, and emphasizes technical excellence, scalability, reliability, maintainability, and agile practices. Candidates should have at least six years of software engineering experience, including two years in engineering management, along with programming, AI software development, and full-stack or cloud experience. The role is based in Austin, Texas, with remote work across the United States and an optional hybrid office arrangement for employees around Austin; hiring in Massachusetts is unavailable.
