Vestwell is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead its AI Engineering organization. The role combines technical leadership with people management, overseeing AI software engineers, production-grade AI services, architecture, delivery, and engineering practices. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree, at least 8 years of software engineering experience including 3+ years leading teams, and expertise in Python, modern AI and machine learning, LLM integrations, cloud-native development, databases, and distributed architectures. The position is based in Vestwell’s New York office under a hybrid in-office model and offers a base salary of $195,000–$205,000 plus bonus and equity eligibility.
