Zoox is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a mixed software and machine learning engineering team building simulation tools, scenario authoring tools, generative models, and agentic tooling for autonomous vehicle safety and performance validation. The role owns technical direction, delivery, cross-functional roadmap prioritization, hiring, mentoring, and team development, with a focus on scaling generative scenario creation and supporting autonomy milestones. Candidates need at least seven years of software engineering experience, two years managing software or machine learning teams, relevant simulation or validation experience, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. The position includes a base salary range, stock-based compensation, and health insurance.
