Description
OpenAI is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the ChatGPT Search Infrastructure team. The role sets technical strategy and architecture across search orchestration, APIs, model and prompt integration, serving, experimentation, evaluation, observability, and product integrations; leads experienced engineers; and builds reusable platforms that enable product teams to independently develop, test, and launch features while maintaining reliability, scalability, latency, and quality. The manager will partner with Post-Training, Inference, Indexing, Retrieval, and other teams to support global-scale search experiences.
