Description
LaunchDarkly is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead its Cloud Engineering team, which owns AWS accounts, networking, multi-region Kubernetes infrastructure, Terraform and GitOps workflows, CockroachDB operations, disaster recovery, and FedRAMP infrastructure posture. The role combines people leadership, operational ownership, technical judgment, incident response, infrastructure migrations, automation, and cross-team collaboration. Candidates need at least two years of experience managing infrastructure, platform, or site reliability engineering teams, including on-call leadership, plus experience with AWS, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and multi-quarter infrastructure migration or insourcing programs. The role offers geographic pay zones in the United States, a 10% bonus target, and health, vision, dental, and mental health benefits.
