Description
HelloFresh is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a squad of product and backend engineers responsible for data privacy systems, including consent and preference management, data subject requests, data retention and deletion, and PII discovery and classification. The role owns the privacy roadmap, operational reliability, architecture and code reviews, incident response, stakeholder management, hiring, performance management, and mentorship, while partnering with product, legal, security, compliance, and other engineering teams. The position requires distributed engineering leadership, scalable microservices and event-driven systems, high-throughput backend systems, DevOps, cloud platforms, and strong cross-functional communication.
