Electra is hiring an Engineering Manager – Control Laws to lead the end-to-end development of control laws for its EL9 nine-passenger hybrid-electric aircraft, from preliminary design through certification. The role combines technical leadership of flight-control software, validation, integration, verification, and flight testing with people management of a high-performing flight controls team. Candidates need a bachelor's degree, at least 10 years of relevant experience, expertise in flight dynamics and control theory, and experience with model-based development, real-time embedded software, and aircraft systems. The position offers $153,000–$185,000 annually plus equity, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and other benefits.
