Tailscale is hiring a full-time Software Engineering Manager to lead and mentor software engineers, provide technical direction, manage critical production services, support hiring and engineering culture, and collaborate across product, data science, and design teams. The role requires substantial engineering-management experience, production-service expertise, on-call and incident-response experience, Go development experience, and strong technical judgment. It is fully remote, with a US base-salary range of $206,000–$257,000 plus equity and comprehensive benefits.
