Bluehost is hiring a Platform Engineering Manager to lead and develop a small team of approximately four engineers while also serving as a hands-on software engineer. The role covers data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, containerized hosting, observability, backup and disaster recovery, internal automation, incident response, architecture, and production systems. Candidates need 4–6 years of hands-on engineering experience across relevant domains, production-system experience, strong SQL and relational-database knowledge, public-cloud and containerization experience, and familiarity with observability and backup practices.
