GitLab is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead and grow a high-performing Data Insights Platform engineering team within the Data Foundations group. The role combines people management with technical guidance on distributed data systems, including event ingestion, CDC replication, buffering, enrichment, ClickHouse-backed storage, query APIs, search, and production operations across SaaS, Dedicated, self-managed, and cell-based deployments. The manager will partner with product, design, infrastructure, and other engineering teams to define roadmaps, deliver platform improvements, and improve reliability, security, observability, and operational maturity. The role is remote and offers a United States base salary range of $152,800 to $259,200 USD.
