Description
LaunchDarkly is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead its Data Platform team and own the high-throughput systems that ingest, process, and serve real-time and batch data for experimentation, metrics, observability, release management, agent control, and data export. The role leads backend engineers, owns production reliability and incident response, partners with product and engineering teams, drives operational excellence, and participates in hiring. It requires 8+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years managing backend or infrastructure engineers, along with experience owning high-throughput production systems and strong distributed-systems judgment.
