GitLab is hiring an Infrastructure Team Lead to lead its Dedicated Infrastructure team, combining hands-on technical leadership with team development. The role partners with the Product Manager to set priorities, maintains 99.9% availability, strengthens security, automates operations, guides architecture, leads incidents, and develops self-service platforms. The lead will also recruit and develop team members, use AI-assisted approaches, and manage technical risk and debt. The position requires experience with large-scale distributed services, fleet management, Terraform, AWS, automated provisioning, high-availability SLOs, AI productivity tools, and remote team leadership. The role is remote and offers a United States base salary range of $152,800 to $259,200 USD.
