Amazon is hiring an Engineering Manager for its Edge Observability team to lead software developers building scalable log event streaming and telemetry systems for CloudFront, AGA, WAF, and Shield. The role owns product roadmaps, technical architecture, software quality practices, customer-facing observability, and team culture, while partnering with product management and senior leadership. Candidates need extensive engineering management, software architecture, web services, and full software development lifecycle experience, with recruiting and mentoring experience preferred. The position is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, with a base salary of CAD 171,400–286,200 annually.
