Description

Testlio is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the team responsible for its partner integrations, public API, and identity and access surfaces. The role reports to the Director of Engineering and combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, API and integration architecture, roadmap ownership, production support, reliability, observability, and team development. It is 100% remote for candidates in the United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal, Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, and Estonia, with no visa sponsorship.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years managing a team of 4+ engineers in an agile, remote environment
Recent experience writing production code and designing or evolving production systems
Experience designing, versioning, documenting, and deprecating APIs consumed by external companies
Experience building or running integrations against external APIs at scale
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, enterprise SSO, token scoping, and least-privilege API roles
Familiarity with Kafka, GraphQL, Python, and React
Experience with observability and APM tools and optimizing slow database transactions
Knowledge of application security and integrating security reviews into the SDLC
Experience modernizing legacy systems or reducing technical debt while maintaining a product
Prior experience managing a SaaS product
