UW is hiring an Engineering Manager to co-lead an autonomous engineering squad with a Product Manager. The role owns technical decisions, team goals, prioritisation, OKRs, planning, delivery, security and SLOs, operational metrics, people development, and stakeholder communication. It requires experience leading engineering teams, technical design and architecture, cross-functional collaboration, and complex multi-variant domains, with knowledge of gRPC, GraphQL, React, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and Go.
