Description
Datadog is hiring an Engineering Manager for Threat Detection to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of AI-accelerated detection and response. The role builds and mentors a team of security and software engineers, develops detection platforms, agents, coverage and signal-quality systems, and contributes directly to detections. It partners with SIRT, Cyber Threat Intelligence, AI Engineering, and other security teams, tracks program metrics, and evangelizes the detection mission. Candidates should have security operations, detection engineering, or incident-response experience, cloud or SaaS security experience, automation and production-quality systems experience, and people-leadership experience. The role offers a hybrid workplace, healthcare, dental, parental planning, mental health, equity, and other benefits, with an estimated yearly salary of $192,000–$240,000 USD.
