Google is hiring a Tech Lead Manager (TLM) for Google Pay to manage mobile and backend software engineers across 1–2 core work streams in India. The role leads project outcomes, collaborates with Product and UX partners, guides engineers toward technical leadership, and supports team culture. Candidates need a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, extensive software development experience, large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems experience, technical leadership experience, people-management experience, and mobile app development experience. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees, complex matrixed-organization experience, generative AI or large language model experience, Java server-side development, and native Android/iOS or Flutter expertise. Google prioritizes applicants with a current right to work in Singapore and does not require visa sponsorship.
