Sitemate is hiring a full-time Engineering Manager to lead engineers on a product team in Sydney or Melbourne, Australia. The role owns engineering capacity, sprint planning, delivery tracking, risk escalation, performance management, and engineering process standards, while also contributing code and collaborating with the Product Design Manager and Tech Lead. It requires prior engineering management or equivalent hands-on experience, strong delivery and people-management skills, and hands-on knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Angular or React, and MongoDB. The position offers AUD $140,000–$170,000 including super, plus equity, leave, professional development, and flexible remote or hybrid work.
