TuxCare is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead its Language Security Research function, overseeing four teams and approximately 18 engineers working on security patches for end-of-life and non-end-of-life open-source language runtimes and frameworks. The role combines people leadership, technical direction, vulnerability analysis, CVE triage, patch backporting, CI/CD and dependency-management standards, delivery accountability, SLA compliance, and cross-team coordination. Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: At least 6 years of hands-on software development experience across multiple language ecosystems
At least 3 years of engineering leadership experience in a product company
Experience with CI/CD and dependency-management tools
Experience with security research, vulnerability analysis, CVE triage, or patch backporting
Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of CVE, CVSS, CWE, CSAF, and VEX vulnerability lifecycle standards
Open-source or software supply-chain security background
Experience integrating AI tools into research or patching workflows
Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud-native knowledge
Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency
