Description

TuxCare is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead its Language Security Research function, overseeing four teams and approximately 18 engineers across Java, JavaScript/Go, Python, and PHP. The role combines people management, technical direction, vulnerability research, CVE analysis, patch backporting, security release processes, CI/CD and dependency tooling, SLA ownership, and cross-team delivery coordination. Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: At least 6 years of software development experience across multiple language ecosystems, including at least 3 years in engineering leadership.
Experience owning technical delivery and team outcomes.
Experience creating or improving engineering processes.
Preferred Qualifications: Language-ecosystem vulnerability research experience.
Open-source, supply-chain security, or ELS product background.
Experience integrating AI tools into security research or patching workflows.
Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud-native experience.
Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency.
