TLA is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a small, senior engineering team rebuilding its consumer-facing automotive marketing platform on a modern Node.js stack. The role owns team delivery, develops engineers through mentoring and career investment, contributes technically, improves engineering processes, and helps shape hiring and onboarding. It requires a track record of leading and growing a small engineering team, strong Node/TypeScript and React/Next.js technical depth, cloud experience, process improvement experience, and fluency with modern AI coding tools. The position is hybrid in Liverpool, with two days in the office and the remainder from home, and is open only to candidates with the right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
