Apple is hiring an Engineering Manager for its Crawl Infrastructure team to lead engineers operating a petabyte-scale distributed web crawl that powers Siri, Apple Intelligence, Spotlight, Safari, and foundation models. The role owns the technical roadmap, reliability, feature velocity, scalability, incident response, stakeholder communication, and design reviews, while partnering with product and machine learning teams. Candidates need extensive software engineering and distributed systems experience, cloud and Kubernetes expertise, data pipeline knowledge, and a computer science degree or equivalent experience.
