Description
Toyota is hiring an Engineering Manager, ML Training Infrastructure to lead a team of approximately seven to eight engineers responsible for building and operating machine learning training infrastructure. The role combines engineering leadership with technical direction across Kubernetes, distributed systems, GPU fleets, cloud platforms, Ray, Airflow, Temporal, and large-scale model training workloads. Responsibilities include shaping the technical roadmap, improving system reliability and operational productivity, managing customer and cross-functional requirements, establishing engineering practices, and supporting production operations. The position requires at least eight years of software engineering experience, including two years in leadership, and offers a base salary of $140,000 to $260,000 per year.
