Nextlane is hiring an Engineering Manager for Platform to lead 8–10 engineers across France, Portugal, and Spain. The role owns APIs, API gateways, integration services, delivery predictability, service reliability, security, cloud and DevOps operations, and platform modernisation. It is a technically credible leadership role rather than a full-time coding position, requiring 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years managing engineering teams, along with distributed systems, API design, cloud, CI/CD, and API security expertise. The position offers a hybrid rotational model with two onsite days and three remote days, plus private medical insurance and other benefits.
