Harper is hiring an Engineering Manager to build and grow its platform engineering team, which currently has two people and will expand to five or six over the next three months. The role owns cloud infrastructure, third-party vendors, developer productivity and AI tooling, SRE, and production support, while remaining hands-on with engineers. Candidates should have at least two years of direct management experience, AWS or GCP experience, strong database troubleshooting skills, and experience with large-scale systems. The position is based in San Francisco, requires in-office work five days per week, and offers a salary of $225,000–$275,000 plus health, dental, and vision insurance.
