Description
OpenTable is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead its globally distributed Serving Platforms team of 10 engineers responsible for runtime infrastructure supporting Quality Assurance and Production environments. The role oversees Kubernetes, service-mesh, Vault, Kafka, on-call readiness, incident response, reliability, scalability, security, infrastructure investment, and cross-functional platform coordination. Candidates need at least five years of experience leading infrastructure, platform, or site reliability engineering teams, along with cloud, Linux, and scripting or automation experience. The position follows a hybrid model with two office days per week and is based in Toronto, Canada, with compensation of $165,000–$180,000 CAD including commission or bonuses.
