Description
BAE Systems is hiring an Engineering Manager – Project Engineering Management (AUKUS Programme Interface) to lead engineering functional management and coordinate the technical and engineering aspects of the SSN AUKUS Programme Interface Office. The role supports multi-national, multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, build, test and commissioning, supply chain, infrastructure, IM&T and core functions; manages technical risks, engineering planning, governance, stakeholder relationships, and integration conflicts; and liaises with UK MOD, BAE Systems Submarines, ASA, Australian Submarine Builders, and senior industry and government stakeholders. The position is based in Barrow with fortnightly travel to the customer site in Abbeywood, and Filton may be considered for southern-based candidates subject to HR approval. The role is open only to permanent and fixed-term BAE Systems employees who have completed 12 months in their current role.
