Description

Apple is hiring a MapKit Quality Engineering Manager to lead a team of quality engineers responsible for testing strategy, automation frameworks, CI reliability, SDK/API validation, bug triage, release quality gates, and quality reporting across MapKit SDKs for iOS, macOS, WatchOS, Android, and JavaScript. The role also involves recruiting, mentoring, and developing quality engineers while partnering with engineering, product, and design teams throughout the feature lifecycle.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 6+ years of quality/test engineering experience, including at least two years in a lead or management role
Experience driving test strategy and delivering comprehensive test coverage for mission-critical SDKs, APIs, and applications
Hands-on experience with SDK/API testing and automation frameworks
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, build systems, Git, and RESTful API or backend integration testing
Preferred Qualifications: Experience testing or designing SDKs/APIs used by external teams or third-party developers, including Android and/or iOS SDKs
Practical experience with mobile and web technologies
Familiarity with SwiftUI, UIKit, React, and/or Node.js
Experience managing host or lab environments for automated testing and end-to-end automation development
Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and rapid release cadences
Experience coaching direct reports to help them advance in their careers
Familiarity with mapping frameworks
