Description
OpenAI is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the team building Rosalind Workbench and its supporting infrastructure. The role involves hiring and developing engineers, setting technical direction, translating scientific and customer needs into product milestones, shaping architecture across scientific interfaces, agent and tool orchestration, compute, durable execution, and persistent project state, and establishing engineering quality, testing, release, observability, and on-call practices. The manager will coordinate with product, research, Codex, customer-facing teams, security, privacy, and safety teams, and work with scientists and enterprise customers to improve workflows, access controls, data handling, and product reliability.
