Amazon is hiring an Engineering Manager for its Search Science Data Infrastructure (SSDI) team in Palo Alto. The role leads the development of machine learning, big data, and distributed systems infrastructure for search model training, feature engineering, data quality monitoring, and live-site search services. Responsibilities include technical leadership, strategic direction, mentoring direct reports, recruiting and retaining engineering talent, and managing relationships with customers and stakeholders. The position requires extensive engineering management, software architecture, web services, and full software development lifecycle experience, along with experience partnering with product or program management teams.
