Umbra is hiring an experienced Engineering Manager for its Space Systems business group to lead a multi-disciplined engineering team responsible for the design, test, implementation, and support of satellite technology. The role is based on-site in Santa Barbara/Goleta, California or Arlington, Virginia, and focuses on personnel management, program execution, team development, process improvement, and coordination with senior leadership. Candidates need extensive aerospace and space vehicle design experience, direct engineering management experience, and familiarity with traditional project management and Agile tools and methods.
