AWS is hiring an engineering manager for its Utility Computing organization, responsible for leading cross-disciplinary product and technology development, designing large distributed systems, defining engineering roadmaps, simplifying architecture, and managing software-engineering teams. The role requires extensive engineering management, software architecture, distributed systems, and multi-tier web services experience, with preferred experience in requirements communication, recruiting, mentoring, and coaching software engineers. The position is based in Bellevue or Seattle, Washington, with an annual base salary of 184,900 to 250,200 USD.
