Description
CEA Saclay is hiring a six-month Engineering/Master’s Internship focused on laser wire additive manufacturing instrumentation and thermomechanical modeling. The intern will acquire thermal and mechanical data during WLAM manufacturing of a P91 steel part, calibrate a finite-element model in Cast3M, and compare it with experimental measurements. The internship is based in Gif-sur-Yvette, France, with a start date around March 2027 and is intended for a final-year engineering student or equivalent Master’s Year 2 candidate in mechanical engineering or materials.
