Amazon is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, troubleshoot, and repair mission-critical electrical and mechanical data center equipment, including generators, switchgear, UPS systems, cooling systems, and building management systems. The role requires hands-on preventive maintenance, root-cause analysis, rack-level work, technical writing, vendor support, and flexible on-site scheduling, with travel between data center locations as needed. Candidates need at least one year of Microsoft Office experience and one year of electrical or mechanical facilities maintenance experience; data center engineering experience, technical documentation skills, and a related associate or technical degree are preferred. The position offers a lump-sum relocation stipend for eligible candidates and does not provide visa sponsorship.
