Description
Amazon is hiring a Data Centre Engineering Operations Technician to operate and maintain critical data centre infrastructure, including diesel generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems, HVAC, and fire suppression systems. The role covers routine and corrective maintenance, performance analysis, reporting, contractor coordination, incident response, capacity planning, and facility asset management. Applicants must be Australian citizens, hold or be eligible for an Australian Government Security Clearance, complete an Organisational Suitability Assessment, have knowledge of mechanical and HVAC systems, hold a valid driver's licence, and be able to cover 24/7 shift rotations. The role includes AWS training and certification support, health and life insurance benefits, and relocation after a 6–12-month training period.
