Description
Amazon is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, and troubleshoot mission-critical electrical and mechanical data center equipment, including generators, switchgear, UPS systems, cooling systems, and building management systems. The role performs preventive maintenance, rack installations, root-cause analysis, technical writing, vendor support, and on-site troubleshooting, with flexible shifts, possible on-call rotations, and travel between data center locations. Candidates need at least two years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance experience, Microsoft Office experience, and the ability to work flexible schedules; data center engineering experience and technical training are preferred. The position is based in Chantilly, Virginia, with an hourly base salary of 37.64–65.91 USD.
