Description
AWS is hiring an Engineering Operations Technician to maintain, operate, troubleshoot, and repair mission-critical data center facility equipment, including electrical systems, generators, UPS units, cooling systems, pumps, and fire and life-safety equipment. The role performs building rounds, building management system monitoring, rack installations and decommissioning, preventive maintenance, root-cause analysis, technical writing, and contractor support, with flexible shifts that may include evenings, overnights, weekends, and on-call rotations. Candidates need at least two years of relevant experience, with data center engineering experience and a related bachelor's degree preferred. The position is based in Sterling, Virginia, with a base salary of $37.00–$65.00 USD per hour.
